As usual, Melissa outdid herself for what was supposed to be a small gathering for cocktails and appetizers with a buffet spread and cocktails at the bar and a sweets table in the living room.
Instead, using the color palette dominated by black and white with accents of red, she transformed my boyfriend’s apartment into a spooky, sleek, and luxuriously playful party destination for Halloween.
There were three settings: cocktail bar, savory buffet, and sweet buffet.
The Cocktail Bar Setting had Iittala Marimekko Bowl 4″-Black and Iittala Marimekko Bowl 6″-Black and plum for the candy, Heath Ceramics Plaza Large Serving Platter – onyx for the dip in an acorn squash with chips, Kosta Boda Limelight Cake Plate serving the witches’ hats, Iittala Aarne DOF and Schott Zwiesel Diva Martini and Schott Zwiesel Pure Shot Glass. At the far end of the bar is Match Pewter Three Flame Candelabra.
