Looks fabulous you say? It does doesn’t it? The iittala Essence Tumbler with the bright orange peel of the tangerine garnish…sigh. The picture calls to me.

And the name is hard to resist. Reminds me of grade 8 when the alternative rock band fronted by the creepy, fetal looking Billy Corgan, who always made me think of a Tim Burton movie, and the Japanese rhythmic guitarist emoing in the back was topping the charts with their angst-y crooning. Savory Buffet table setting featuring Match Pewter Five Flame Candelabra

For the Savory Table Melissa styled it as buffets. Like the Cocktail Bar she lit them with candles and stuck with her color scheme of black with touches of white and red.

She first covered the small dining table with Libeco Home Vence Linen Tablecloth-69″ Square-Grape and Chilewich Lattice Table Runner-Caviar. The rich purple added just a bit of color to the predominantly black table setting and the lattice runner reflected the candlelight for variety of depth. Continue Reading

And Hallelujah for this drink. I’m not the biggest fan of complicated cocktails especially ones that require me chop a lot and stand in front of a stove, straining and cooling. And then muddling and straining some more. Good Lord. To make a cold beverage? Puleez. And perhaps I say that I would make this drink again because I’m not the one who made it in the first place.
