Savory Buffet table setting featuring Match Pewter Five Flame Candelabra

For the Savory Table Melissa styled it as buffets. Like the Cocktail Bar she lit them with candles and stuck with her color scheme of black with touches of white and red.

She first covered the small dining table with Libeco Home Vence Linen Tablecloth-69″ Square-Grape and Chilewich Lattice Table Runner-Caviar. The whole romance surrounding South Boston or Southie is that it’s rough, redolent of a violent history.

Melissa‘s been trying to get us to head over to her hood for a picnic since summer. Something about a great view and a pretty park.

Summer flew by and it’s fall. Finally, we make it over to South Boston where Melissa lives and we see for ourselves the great view and the very pretty park full of happy canines romping on the lushest grass since my sister’s backyard’s. Continue Reading

Table Setting

Table setting for afternoon tea featuring Jars Ceramics, Pillivuyt, & Sabre Paris

Every plate, cup, fork, spoon, tray, linen, every decorative detail from the trimming and the flowers, every display and combination decision was made by Melissa Ragonese, our Visual Director and Table Stylist. This included the gift bags, the chair covers, even the name tag designs.

For this event the theme color was pink in recognition of the National Breast Cancer Foundation and its pink ribbon. Melissa managed to tread expertly between that fine line when using pink between saccharine and barbie-girlish to feminine and elegant. The pictures speak for themselves. Continue Reading
